With a career spanning over 30 years, Richard’s journey into the building industry began with technical qualifications in carpentry and joinery. His extensive training across various trades has made him well-equipped to handle every aspect of the construction process, from foundations and brickwork to plastering, fitting bathrooms and kitchens, and more.

Qualified and experienced development and project manager with over 10 years of
experience in construction project management, specialising in pre-construction design
services including appointment and coordination of consultants.
Successfully managed and advised on the acquisition of a multi-million-pound residential
development scheme

services including appointment and coordination of consultants.
Successfully managed and advised on the acquisition of a multi-million-pound residential
development scheme and retained to manage the planning and pre-construction design
phase. Identified and presented various land led development opportunities to a wide range
of investors. Represented the interest of the clients in meetings and site visits.
Well versed in modern methods of construction, having pioneered and piloted a light gauge
steel frame building system.
I also manage my own
small-scale developments and refurbishment projects.

My first exposure and experience of construction came as a teenager following my dad to
his various building sites. My dad was a building contractor who built anything from home,
factories, schools etc
After my education I daubed into business trading women’s clothing and accessories, but
my passion for construction always remained.

After my education I daubed into business trading women’s clothing and accessories, but
my passion for construction always remained.
In 2008, I bought and renovated 2 houses in Liverpool.
In 2013, myself and my sister acquired land, appointed an architect to develop plans for five
properties. We developed and built 5 terraces houses. With this experience, I have been
working on various other projects during the last 11 years.
I have project managed whole project from land acquisition to completion, bringing
together the architects to develop plans, to clearing the land, then the actual build, to
finishing. My interest in property development only grows stronger.
My happy place is on a building site.
